Authorities say six more women have come forward in the investigation of a serial rape suspect in Bethlehem who police say targeted his victims through Facebook.

Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli said Monday no additional charges have been filed against 20-year-old David Martinez of Bethlehem.

"I think we are going to see even more young women come forward," Morganelli said.

Martinez remains in Northampton County Prison under $200,000 bail in two rapes he was charged with last week. Police said his victims were 14 and 17 when they were attacked last year at Martinez's home at 421 Maple St. after agreeing to meet him face to face for the first time after becoming acquainted with him over Facebook.

According to court records, the 17-year-old victim filed for a protection-from-abuse order against Martinez last year. She wrote that after chatting with Martinez via Facebook, she agreed to "hang out" with him, but told him she wasn't interested in having sex.

She said that after watching a movie at his home, Martinez became aggressive and raped her even though she repeatedly told him to stop.
