The iPhone 4S device is the latest iPhone that has been released by the Apple company and so far, it has been extremely popular amongst consumers. One of the big selling points of the phone is the Siri feature that allows users to control the phone using their voice alone. It is now said however that using this feature actually means that the iPhone 4S is using up around double the amount of data allowance when compared with the iPhone 4 device.

The Siri feature on the iPhone 4S device has to constantly connect with Apple servers in order to gain information when the user inputs a voice command. This is causing the usage of iPhone 4S owners data allowance and has seen many people going over their monthly limit because of it, or even having to upgrade their data allowance on their monthly tarrif. It is said that when compared with the iPhone 3GS, the iPhone 4S uses around triple the amount of data because of this.

Many carriers are considering better tailored tariffs to solve this problem that will allow users to use the Siri feature without worrying about their allowance.
